MEMBERSHIP REQUIREMENTS

  • Must be a New Milford resident for at least one year immediately before the date of application. ***

  • Must be sponsored by a member in good standing.

  • Must complete a physician's physical examination.



    *** 1 year residency can be waived under special circumstances. If you have questions about your residency requirement, feel free to ask one of the officers.

 

ONE YEAR PROBATIONARY PERIOD

  • MUST ATTEND 5 OF THE 11 MONTHLY MEETINGS

  • MUST MAKE 25% OF THE EMERGENCY CALLS DURING THAT YEAR

  • MUST ATTEND A MINIMUM OF 75% OF THE DRILLS AND TRAINING SESSIONS AS ORDERED BY THE CAPTAIN
